This schedule of fees and dues is in addition to any amounts charged by the General Society. The Historian collects the Maryland fees and the Treasurer collects the annual dues and other member transactions after election to the Society. Dues, Memberships, and fees may be changed by the Society at any time without notice.
Annual Membership Dues– $65.00 – The annual dues are discounted to $55 each if paid to the Maryland Society before April 1 of that year. On April 1, the discount is lost and the full rate must be paid. Those who fail to pay their dues that calendar year are dropped as members of the General Society of Mayflower Descendants and of the Maryland Society no later than the end of that calendar year. Newly elected members are not charged annual dues in the calendar year of their enrollment.
Life Membership Dues – Life memberships are permanent. They cannot be transferred. Life members wishing to become members of another state society must pay the dues charged by that society. They remain members of the Maryland Society and are then known as dual members. Life members may resign if they wish. The Maryland Society no longer sells Life Memberships.
Junior Membership – $50 One-time Fee – Annual Junior members are relatives of Maryland members who are themselves descendants of one of the Pilgrim passengers. Annual junior members are members of the Maryland Society but not of the General Society Plymouth. They cannot vote on matters before the membership. The Maryland Historian has the authority to give final approval to their membership applications. There is a one-time fee of $50 to be a junior member. This fee is due at the time the application is submitted to the Historian. A person may be a junior member until the age of 25. A junior member on attaining the age of 18 may submit an application to become a regular member. This is an initial application and the fees set out above for annual members apply as do the dues.

These persons include spouses of members, persons who are interested in furthering and contributing to the goals of our Society and adopted children of members. Their applications are submitted by members and approved by the Historian.
